We invite you to join us for a special conference on Bible prophecy. As we see our world quickly changing around us, it raises many questions in our minds. What is happening? Does the Bible predict any of the things we are seeing take place? What happens next? Most importantly, am I prepared for eternity?

In this conference, Dr. Charles Hiltibidal will be addressing these questions and many others from the Word of God.

About Dr. Charles Hiltibidal

Dr. Hiltibidal was born in a lay preacher’s home in 1948. He grew up in rural southern Illinois and after 60 years of ministry, he has returned to live on the family farm with his wife, Mary, of 52 years.

He started the New Testament Baptist Church of Centralia, Illinois, after many years of assistant pastor and music director positions in five churches. He pastored the Grace Baptist Temple of Duncanville, Texas, and served there over 18 years. He has resigned as the pastor of Grace Baptist Church of Raleigh, Illinois, a rural church, twenty-three miles from the farm after serving as pastor over twelve years. His son, Mark Hiltibidal, is now pastor.

The ministry under his leadership grew from less than a dozen people to an average of 90-100 with a printing ministry, an aggressive weekly outreach, a strong missions’ program, a radio ministry, and a sound Bible-centered church family.

He is also the executive vice president of the Creation Evidence Museum of Glen Rose, Texas, which started as a ministry of the Grace Baptist Temple where he pastored. He has been a certified registered field supervisor of archeological digs for the museum. He has participated in archeological digs in several states and Israel.

He is now in full time evangelism working under the authority of Grace Baptist Church. He travels and speaks on Creation and the Bible as well as prophecy, both nationally and internationally. The ministry has renovated a building for offices and a worldwide endeavor through video recording and YouTube outreach. He has written several books on prophecy that are available through their website bookstore.

In 2020 he and Dan Goodwin started the Prophecy in the Spotlight TV program that airs on CTN which covers 85% of the world. The studios in his ministry building are used for the weekly TV program. This has opened many doors to help people with biblical truth and to share the gospel worldwide.

He holds prophecy and Walk Through Time conferences where he takes a walk through the Bible presenting Archeological evidences, scientific discoveries, Historical documentations of fulfilled prophecy, and the coming prophetic events in six sessions from Sunday through Wednesday.

He and his wife have five children and 26 grandchildren his three sons are full time in the ministry of the Lord. He is available for meetings and can be contacted though his church or directly through their ministry.

About the Conference

The Prophecy Conference will be hosted by New Testament Baptist Church from September 16 - September 19. The services will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There will be a Q & A time on Saturday evening. On Sunday, the services will be held at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 6:00 p.m.

Celebrating our pastor's first anniversary at NTBC

This Sunday we will celebrate Pastor Lott's first anniversary as the pastor of our church. We are so thankful to the Lord for sending him to us. We are grateful for all that the Lord has done in our church this past year, and we look forward to continuing to serve Him together in the days and years to come.

Following the morning service, we will have a chili cookoff and time of fellowship. After the fellowship, we will have an afternoon service. This will take the place of our usual 6:00 p.m. evening service.

"Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine." (I Tim. 5:17)

God says that church is essential for believers. It is a necessary component of the Christian life. Is it essential to you? If so, we invite you to assemble with us this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for Sunday School, 11:00 a.m. for the morning worship service, and 7:00 p.m. for the evening service. We also meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights for prayer meeting and Bible study. We still have a parking lot service option for those who are not yet able to come inside.

As we "see the day approaching", may we be faithful to God's house "so much the more"!

Sunday School Begins Again This Week

We are excited to resume our Sunday School and Children's Church classes again this Sunday! Sunday School will meet at 10:00 a.m. There will be classes for adults and children. While we are still not yet running the bus route, parents are welcome to bring their children to church (a parent or responsible adult will need to stay for the service).

For those who still feel more comfortable in the parking lot, Pastor Lott will broadcast the men's class over the radio. Because of this, the men will meet in the auditorium for Sunday School. The ladies' class will meet in their regular classroom. Those who would like to join can request to join the private Facebook group, Lift Bible Class, to watch the livestream.

The morning worship service will begin at 11:00 a.m., and Children's Church will resume during that time.

We are grateful to be able to get back to our former schedule, and look forward to seeing you! Please join us in praying that the Lord will bless our time together as we seek to learn more of His Word, and to worship Him.

We are excited to be phasing back into our regular church services! This week, and throughout this phase, we will have our Sunday morning service at 11:00 a.m. and our Sunday evening service will be back at 7:00 p.m. There will be no Sunday school or bus at this time.

We have cleaned thoroughly and are encouraging everyone who attends to use precautions for health and safety. If you are not yet comfortable with coming into the church building for services, you will still be able to listen in the parking lot on 89.1 FM.

While many things are uncertain in our world right now, and some things are considered "unessential", there is no doubt that we still need the preaching and teaching of God's Word and the fellowship of His people. We may need to "keep our distance" and view one another from our cars, but we are thankful that there is still a way for us to gather and be encouraged with a transfusion of help and hope from the Bible. Church is essential!

Join Us As We Worship Our Risen Savior!

We hope that you will join us in our parking lot tomorrow, Easter Sunday, as we celebrate our risen Savior! We will be transmitting our services via FM radio to those who are there. Just pull up, tune your dial to 89.1 FM, and have your hearts prepared to hear from the Word of God!

If you would like to join us in the congregational singing, the songs for the services will be shared on a later blog post and on our church Facebook page. These can be printed at home or you can view them on your phone during the service.

We will begin drive-in services tonight, April 8, at 7:00 p.m. It is our hope and desire that this will allow us to safely assemble while still "keeping our distance".

Pastor Lott will be using a low-watt FM transmitter that will be able to be heard in your vehicle in the church parking lot.

We will have livestream only this Sunday - 3/27/20

This Sunday, we will livestream our services on our church Facebook page at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. There will be no services at the church, and no bus ministry or Sunday School. If you are unable to tune in during the Live, it will be available for replay on the church Facebook page, or on our church YouTube channel.

I miss you! While it is good to listen to preaching while we are confined at home, church is assembling together. The ability to fellowship, sing, give, pray, and be fed from the Word of God together are all important parts of church. We look forward to being able to assemble together and do these things again soon! Until then, we are thankful for the technology that is available to help us stay connected. I hope that one benefit of this time of quarantine is a fresh appreciation of the privilege of being IN church with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Church Update from Pastor Lott for 3/25

There will be no service tonight (3/25) at the church.

I will be livestreaming a message tonight on the church Facebook page, but there will be no service at New Testament Baptist Church. My wife and I are not feeling the greatest, and I have decided that caution is the best course of action.

If you do not have access to Facebook Live, we will also upload the service to our church YouTube channel (see link below) Both of our services from Sunday are there now.

Please know that this decision has not been made lightly. We are praying for you, and hope that you will pray for us.

Some important information regarding our ministries

Some important information to know:

Due to the COVID-19 virus, we will not be running our bus tomorrow.

Services will still be held tomorrow at 10, 11, and 7 for those who wish to attend. We have removed all hymnals and pew Bibles, have discontinued handshaking/fellowship time, and have taken many other safety precautions.

Those who are unwell, vulnerable, or need to stay at home can watch via Facebook Live on the church page.

Audio CDs will be available upon request for those who do not have Facebook or who wish to listen in that format.

Coronavirus Action Plan

A Letter from Pastor Lott

3/14/20

Dear Friends,

I would like to let you know what our plan of action is at New Testament Baptist Church regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We do not wish to react in fear, but rather to act in faith and love. “...God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;”

Currently, there are no cases of COVID -19 reported in Butler County. As long as that remains the case, we will continue to have our regularly scheduled services and activities. In order to help prevent possible spread of illness, we will not be having our normal “fellowship time”, and will encourage people to refrain from physical contact (hugs, handshaking, etc.) while at church. We are taking extra precautions with cleaning and sanitation before and after each service. We will have hand sanitizer in the foyer as well as in every classroom and meeting space and encourage everyone to use them. We ask that if you have any symptoms of a cold or other illness that you please do not attend. Also, if you are a senior citizen, or have an underlying health condition that puts you at risk, please be cautious. You may wish to consider staying home during this time.

In the event that cases of COVID-19 are found in Butler County, we will take additional steps. We will remove the song books from the auditorium for sanitizing and less possibility of transmitting illness. We will also suspend the bus ministry and door-to-door soulwinning.

We will continue to have services as long as we can. If we reach a stage where we determine that we should close public services temporarily for the health and safety of our congregation, all other events on the church calendar during that period will also be canceled. Pastor Lott will continue to preach at regular service times and these will be live-streamed. Links to the private, church YouTube channel will be provided to those who attend. Each service will require a separate link, so please make sure we have your current e-mail or text information if you wish to participate.

Even if we are unable to have our regularly scheduled services, our church will still have financial obligations. Our missionary support will remain unchanged, and our other expenses will continue at approximately 75%. It is vital that you continue to be faithful in your tithes and offerings. You can mail your checks to 437 N. Duffy Rd., Butler, PA 16001, or you can give online through downloading the tithe.ly app on your smartphone or through the giving link on the church website ( www.visitNTBC.com) .

We will have men available who will be willing to help our senior citizens and others who may be unable to get out with shopping and other practical needs.

I hope that each of us will see this as an opportunity to share the love of Christ with others through our words and our actions. Look for ways to be a light and help to those around you. If we can find ways to reach out in an organized way to our community, we will do so.

Most importantly, do not panic or live in fear. While there is no doubt that this is a time of uncertainty in many ways, we have a God who is still in control. Have faith in Him.
